Have a great run, looking forward to the photos
Made it home - I hope everybody has managed to make it home as well - We started with 10 and finished with six! One retirement through ill healh, one retirement due to having to get up early and fly to Spain tomorrow, one retirement due to mechanical fault, one retirement due to mechanical failure.
The good news is that it was great to welcome so many new members along and despite the odd hiccup I hope everybody had a good day. Also worth noting that with four Father/Son combinations (and Bill's absence) the average age of the group was younger than usual.
Just one or two photos from today. I am sure others will post more in due course.
PS. Thanks for the maps and the road atlas Bill - what about my apple pie! You were missed by everybody - hope you are at full fighting strength in time for Silverstone.

G309 is a stunner
Great run today mate enjoyed it , it was certainly eventful .i didn't get back till after 8pm due to the bloody M6 again . Done about 400 miles today and the old girl was faultless .
It was an enjoyable day. A real shame that 2 cars had mechanical woes. I know how it feels. When it happens you think "what an idiot I am for buying an old car. I can't wait to flog it and get a 'proper' car", but I also know that as soon as it's fixed you'll fall back in love with it so KEEP THE FAITH!!
Anyway, here's some pics:
Pit stop number 1. Not repairable so we had to leave him there.
Different car, different problems. He kept losing water. We were next to Hadrian's wall and needed water so some brave souls trecked over to a pond we could see to fill water bottles. Gary got it going again, but the same problem happened a few miles later.
