Hello from New York City

Hey all,

I'm noticing that many people here are from Europe - guess that means I won't be taking part in any of your events.

In any case, hello.

I drive a 1987 Toyota MR2 with an engine from an AE92 swapped into it. The original engine spun a bearing on the freeway last year, so I ended up having another 4AGE swapped in because I loved how it performed.

This car has been a lot of fun. Before I owned it, I didn't even know how to change a tire, and now I know how to do lots of things, from suspension work to transmissions. It's taught me a lot.

I came to this forum because I was looking for a thread, namely this one: (www.mr2mk1club.com/repairsp97)

It says that it cannot be found, and when I remove the "p97" from the URL and just try to go to the "repairs" section, it says "forbidden".

My throttle cable is fraying and I'm trying to see how to use bicycle cable to fix it. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very thankful.
