I have a generic insurance question: how can insurance companies justify putting the cost of insurance up depending on where you live?
My 206 hdi went from 406 to 567 as I told them i've now moved house. The district of my town falls under a high risk area, even though I live in a neighbour hood watch area, the car is locked in my own garage, which is integrated in my property, alarm, immobiliser and the house and garage are both alarmed.
It's disgusting
I do 8000 miles a year and for 10 hours 5 days a week my car isn't even at home!! Why isn't my house insurance astronomical?
