    Repair of the Flying Cow

    The recent race at Mallory Park saw me being collected by a backmarker on the last lap while running 3rd.

    We straightened the chassis rails as best they would last weekend
    A trial fit of the panels had panel gaps that even an Austin Maxi would be embarrassed with



    Fortuantly having the donor car meant I could chop bits out.



    Trial fit before tacking



    Then stripped back down to be welded



    Panels fitted back on and it's as good as it's going to be









    Couple of snotters and a suicidal insect to contend with

    glad you got it sorted. it sounded liek quite a big job when i read the parts you needed etc.
    you are lucky to have a nice garage to work in to get all that done.
