wondering if anyone is attending looking at going
The club will be supporting the MR2 racing series at Brands Hatch on Sunday May 1st. Why not come and join us on that day?
I will be coming along to present the Driver of the day award on 1st May . Probably Mike Savory & Stuart Goodacre as well.
Sounds like it was an exciting (?) day...but not for Mk2 MR2s...

I'm sprinting my mr2 this year for the first time, and if my missus or Mum see that video they are gonna have kittens! its says they were both relatively ok though, which is very lucky!

Yes, it was a huge incident, but thankfully both drivers got off with no serious injuries, and no one else was harmed. Very lucky in some respects really; in the past I have stood in the place fenced off where the black car went through, and I know I'm not the only one.
And don't worry Kolby - that sorta thing doesn't normally happen!
I'm sure my mk1 would never get up enough speed to take off like that anyway
Dan
Any chance of returning to the subject????
Come to Brands & have a great day out. The MR2 races are fast & furious. Door handle to door handle stuff.
I hope to see you there on May 1
Oi misery! The topic here is Brands April 17th :P so we ARE on topic!

yes was really scary was sitting directly infront of the barrier were the car hit, without the barrier i would have been a gonna, was really good day apart from that such a shame, at first after the crash many people were suggesting that he had died so glad to find out that he was fine looked awful.
but not put of watching the mr2 championship was some of the most exciting and competitive racing i have ever seen and such a sick track which i would love to drive
