Looks like I may have to sell (although in no hurry).
1989 mk1b sound original car, apart from red and black leather gear gator which I always meant to remove but it grew on me. Fantastic condition interior, cloth seats are like new. 87k on the clock new cambelt and alternator belt, very few miles on the clutch only 2 previous owners one for 18 years and a retired police man. There is a dent beneth the fuel cap but I'm sure it could be teased out my a pro. And she just flew through the mot.

This car is now for sale. Mileage is now 89ish. Been offered £1500 by a guy from work but his plans for it would break my heart. Going on eBay sat with £1500 reserve. Any questions just ask.

Now I am intrigued. What did your colleague want to do with it?

Lower it, widen the arches rip out the "nasty" interior and replace with racing seats and lovely stickers all over. Not going to sell to him. The interior is lovely clean and original.

I think some flames down the sides as well would help. And some blue lighting along the undersides.
