20th March 2011. Pub meeting at Pippins. Maidstone

We're organising at pub meeting at Pippins (Formerly Hanrahans) on Sunday 20th March 2011 starting at 12.30pm. It's located on the A20, nearest motorway is M20, exit at Junction 5 and head towards Maidstone. Address and web link below. Come and meet fellow Mk1 owners. You don't have to come in your Mk1 if it's off the road. There's a big car park at the rear of the pub where we will be hanging around for about an hour (if it's not raining that is) then we'll go inside and have a drink. Food is also available and reasonably priced. You are welcome to just come and say hello or join us for drinks and food. Hope you can make it.

Might be able to do this. Expect my car to be off road in bodyshop in April ...so in March you can see it pre-restoration Will confirm next week after seeing bodyshop people on Saturday.

Must be your local then Joe? Funnily enough, not that long ago, Jane and Mark Holder came to meet us at Pippins in their Red Mk1 and they lived nearby as well. Not sure if they are still around though as we haven't seen them since. Perhaps they'll come again this time?

Hello to everyone.

Yes, Mark and I will be going along too. Sorry didnt managed to meet up again last year. MR2 was taken off the road to have the rear arches repaired. Reapaired now but in natural state, still requires a respray.
