MK2 rear anti roll bars (rear upgrade for mk1)

    I have 2 x rear roll bars

One is 19mm and includes bushes and droplinks for £30

The other is a bit rusty and is measuring 18mm

(droplink ends will be removed, ran out of cutting discs!)

I couldnt get the 19mm dia rear fit mk1. The holes for the brackets are too close to the radius of the bend. How did you fit yours?

I used the standard front ARB brackets from a Mk1. You do have to expand the holes inwards on the bracket so they line up with the holes on the chassis. I've not seen this mentioned before on any fitment guides. The holes on the bracket need expanding in diameter slightly also.
