    1986 black t-bar

    Hi All,
    I am the owner of a 1986 mk1 black t-bar.
I have owned it for over 15 years and maintained and restored it faithfully. It is one of 110 that were made as a limited edition in 1986 and last I heard it was the only one left in the UK. I may not have the car much longer but wanted you enthusiasts to enjoy the car before it goes.
It is in excellent condition and has a current mot. hopefully the photos attached will work.
Any thoughts or feedback greatly received.
    Cheers

Not the only black Mk1b I'm afraid, there's another one on this forum that I know of. Still, a very rare beast though and one that looks veeeeery nice

    Welcome to the club

    She looks lovely(and I'm not a T-Bar fan, tbh)...

Tiny had a G-plate T-bar(although that may be 202 Astral black, not 204 metallic black)...

Toyota used D174FUV for their '7.7 seconds to take off' ad poster in '86...that car apparently, got exported(according to DVLA)...back to Toyota Japan??

Black kouki coupes(from Sept/Oct '86 on) are also v. rare...I know, took me 11 years to find one...

What are you doing with her, selling I guess??

Lovely car. The paint looks really fresh in those photos.

Nice wheels, too. Remind me of jinxy's.

Hi Jimmy, that is lovely looking. So where is yours going?

NO3157,- Tiny had an E-plate (assuming we are talking about the same guy/car ... which is now in my possession, complete with v6 and few other modifications

There were 4 left on the road when I bought mine from Tiny (at the end of 2009).

Thanks Darren, must of got Tiny confused with someone else(whose sig says they have a G-plater)...

Didn't realise your car was his ex!! But as you know, I like her...

Interesting if there were only 4 left as of last year...hmm, wonder how many coupes, also...

There'll be one more on the road by next summer...hopefully!

So that means at least two of the remaining five will be in South Wales

    Aha...ok, it's an F, not a G...thanks though Mark, I knew someone had one...

Best of luck with her, hopefully she'll match the CRX...

    Hi Nice car,

But is it original black ?

I ask because the car looks like its been repainted, all the rubbing stripes and decals
on the front and rear bumpers are also missing?

    Chris
