    Alex, impressed you went out there on a brand new clutch!!

    NAs are capable of 15s(in the wet), as has been proved before...so keep it up!!
    Yeah well first time was my first ever run and I had a really poor start, oh yeah the track was actually dry.

    Don't suppose you're planning on going on the 24th? That's when I'm going up.

    As I mentioned earlier in the thread. I went up to Santa Pod (about 140 miles from Bristol!) to race yesterday but thanks to it being busy, and them having to clean the track due to oil half way through the day I only managed 2 runs. I've never attempted the 1/4 mile before in a RWD car so I wasn't particularly happy with either run, especially the starts. In the first one I didn't have enough revs and bogged down. In the 2nd the guy I was racing against had some sort of engine failure, which meant an almighty bang - I thought it was my car and sort of backed off momentarily till I realised what was happening.

    Here are the times:

    ==RUN 1==
    Reaction - .756
    60 ft - 2.464
    330 ft - 6.999
    1/8 ET - 10.699
    1/8 MPH - 66.48
    1000' ET - 13.861
    1000' MPH - 78.04
    1/4 ET - 16.519
    1/4 MPH - 84.11

    ==RUN 2==
    Reaction - .683
    60 ft - 2.407
    330 ft - 6.849
    1/8 ET - 10.556
    1/8 MPH - 66.43
    1000' ET - 13.717
    1000' MPH - 77.87
    1/4 ET - 16.364
    1/4 MPH - 83.64

    Dan - I'm posting your times again for comparison. Can't see any difference to be honest apart from a slightly higher 1/4 mph.

    I got murdered on my 2nd run by a Fiesta RS. Even though something went pop he still managed 14.something.
