Have lined up a new toy so unfortunately this one has to go. Had the car about 15 months now.
The shell is on 94k miles with 4 owners from new and a fair bit of history, all old tax disks etc.
The car has MOT until March 2011 and passed the last MOT first time.
I have fitted the car with a rev 4 3SGE engine out of a Mk2 MR2 (the 170bhp ish one). The EGR has been blanked off and the car is running rev 3 loom and ECU so no immboliser issues to overcome. The battery has been moved to the frunk to create more room in the bay. A 3SGTE would drop in on the same mounts should you feel inclined.
The following mods have been done to the car in my possession.
Lowering springs
Celica ST185 front disks and calipers
Mk2 MR2 turbo rear brakes
Mk3 Roadster wheels with Bridgestone Potenzas and Goodyear Eagle F1's
Magnex backbox
Enclosed induction kit
MR2 turbo fuel pump
Roof painted satin black
Bad points:
Rear arches repaired in the past and not a perfect job and some rust is coming back through.
Needs a panel screwing in the boot where I have modified the bulkhead for the access to the back of the engine.
Sills have had a bit of welding in the past.
T Bar seal leaks on drivers side in heavy rain.
I'm looking for offers around £1600 given the long ticket and the modifications carried out.
