BHRA "Chicken Run" and classic car show. Faversham, Kent

Hi All

Out of interest and now my car has its replacement engine fitted i though i would pop along to a chow close by me on sunday.

BHRA is the "British Hot Rod Association"

This is an American themed show with Hot Rod /Drag cars being the main order of the day.
On the Sunday its car and driver free entry, so as im always after a bargain day offi went.

I was surprised at the diversity of the cars being shown. High powered V8 hot rods and muscle cars sat in with, pick ups of all ages, vintage rolls with new, mini's with chopper bikes and trikes. also newer cars like mine and vw corrados and camper vans.

Music was playing all day from the stage not only 50's rock and roll but across the years.
Dance demonstrations and every couple of hours a top fuel drag car was fired up and echoed across the landscape. The day finished off with awards for best cars of show.

General public fees were a more than reasonable £5 for adults and under 16's free.
