The Lakes run is on for the 28th of February, more details will follow, Mac, Michael's dad has agreed to help organize the run with Graham (Lakelad)
it is for MR2 MR1 CARS ONLY as it is a club event, Meeting up with the Northwest area at Penrth for a great day
out, So please could you put you names forward if you would like to turn out.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for geting this run started, unfotunately I won't be attending the event myself, its too close to the birth date.

Not sure about dad, he doesn't have a MK1 and mine is sorn for the winter, won't be back on the road till June.

I might have used a tank of fuel just getting to the start point if I go the route that I want to over the Yorkshire Dales!

If anyone on the way from York to Penrith wants picking up for a passenger day out then let me know. Promise I won't scare you too much.

The meeting place for the northwest members,is the Charnock Richard Services Chorley
PR7 5 north of J27 M6 motorway,
we will leave at 9.00am prompt, we will arrive at the Little Chef (A66 Road, Redhills, Penrith, CA11 0DT) at about 10.30am, There we will meet Graham (lakelad) who has planned the Route for use,
To all the northeast members this is where we meet up iits about Half a mile on the left when you go over the M6 Motorway.

Hi all, Due to the Bad weather in the Lakes, Snow & Ice, And on the advice of Graham(Lakelad) He lives in windermere, It has been decided to postpone the run on the this Sunday 28th,
We are still going to have a run out on the 11th of April around the Lakes.
