    SOLD: mark 1 n/a metallic grey jap import (new photos)

    a friend of mine has just emailed me about selling his car, i have seen it in the flesh and i can say its a good example , he is sending me all the usual details which i will post asap. dont think he wants to advertise it to the general public so i suggested letting you guys see it first...very clean mark 1 b in a nice metallic grey.. the car is 1988 no current tax, mot just up! 93,000 miles new15" alloys and tyres he said any reasoable offer considered ,again another mr2 mark1 man selling due to the credit crunch!! have a photo which i will try and post over weekend...

    Shame its got no MOT or TAX, seriously if he wants to sell it, it would be worth getting the car MOT'd for the sake of £40 ( providing it passes )

    Post some pictures and details when you get them, I take it its got Air Con and its a tin top?, cheers

    i know pat !! still in the dark ages will have to pay more attention when my brother in law is demonstrating the "skills" , looks like were packing the clubs then for the 31st. i have some spare bits and bobs which i am going to bring with me all being well, and if any of the guys take a fancy i can let them go for a small fee, saves any hassle of e bay nonsense..

    great idea .............a day out and a car boot sale! seriously though i would do the same only i seem to be putting on more bits than i am taking off see you at the end of the month

    any more info, is it manual, does it have AC, is it a tin top

    any more pictures

    can the car be MOT'd

    it is in northern ireland, he lives in bangor which is only a 15 min. drive from belfast city airport, it is tintop manual and has air con, he just wants a quick sale and against advise will be selling it with no mot, it is a sound car and i reckon you will get it at a good price, i can pm you his mobile no. and email, he is emailing me more photos and i will post them as soon as...

    Always worries me when sellers refuse to MOT a car, I would have been very interested in this.

    car now sold locally.. i believe it went for under a grand.. absolute snip.. this was a very clean car and i know it would of sailed through mot , despite the negative comments regarding this the owner wasent trying to hide a rust bucket with no hope of an mot pass he just needed the money due to work reasons...
