    hi there

been meaning to get round to this for a few weeks now , been a lover of the mk1 since I was 17 and seen a red one for sale at my local toyota garage , could afford car back then , but no way insurance , so now a bit older and full no claims decided to go for it , always wanted a red t bar with leather , but when this one came up at the correct price with long tax and m.o.t decided that orange was the colour for me , and have to say now think that this colour (lambo pearl) suits the car perfectly and certainly gets noticed in a crowd .

Not perfect by any means , previous owner went to town with boy racer parts , lowered touring car spoiler , suede interior underbody lights etc , most of which has been removed now , standard spoiler , new standard springs and shocks all round , stainles exhaust and started removing suede from interior , hope to get interior back to standard shortly , car used every day for over 6 months now and still love it.

Have a few photos to add but dont know how as yet , will get them posted as soon as I figure out how its done

    cheers Dave

thanks for that , I know its not the original tango , but still looks great in orange , and yes interior was bad , faded black suede on dash with faded orange piping and on centre consoul looked cheap and nasty , replaced most now just got door cards to replace

Was on original mr2 site for sale about a year ago colour got me but rear spoiler was a big no no but thanks to ebay , that was easy sorted any pictures on site of your tango ?

    here you go:

I like the sparkly paint more on yours. whe i had mine resprayed i got rid of the silver flake it had and went for a shimmer pearl, but it wasn't as much as i'd hoped.

good to have a tango twosome - if we parked together we'd be orange squash LOL
