HELLO ALL!
..because I don't have an MR2...doh.
I have always wanted one but for one reason or another, never got round to it.
Anyway, made the decision to get a project and revive an ailing two from the dead. When i get it, I'll try to join again! I have spent the last few months reading incessantly about mr2 restoration so feel ready for the challenge..
One question, when i find the perfect project car it is likely to be sorn, with no tax or MOT. does anyone know the legaltities or the best way to move a SORN vehicle?
Hi all..

MR2 Obsessive
hi , this posts brings back some memories. I brought this car , the lad who originally posted decided it was to much for him to repair so i decided to fix her up . As regard to the sills you can use mk3 2 door escort sills , they will need around 15 degrees more bend across the full length but will fit perfect with the profile after you do this . Paul woods discovered they would fit many years ago and i spoke to and got the advice from him ( top man ) . or you could get them from the club site as i think they still sell them on here .
my project on fitting the mk3 sills http://www.mr2mk1club.com/showthread...d-%28sills-%29 hope this helps .
