Best of luck with the recovery so that you can get the MR2 finished and back on the road. It should be like new after all that work!

Mine is a very early mk1a too, registered in the april and VIN number ~#12000. Mine was pretty mint when I got it but I am currently doing a set of wheels for it and re-spraying bits of window surround trim etc. at a time. It's my daily driver though so I can't take it off the road and get everything done in one foul swoop.

I re-sprayed my front valance myself and it came up alright, and it's only going to get stone chipped again anyway so doesn't have to be concourse! I'm also keeping an eye out for a stainless exhaust as my current standard one is looking a bit tired.

I'll be after your slot at the NEC if you don't take it.

Anyhow, May should see the first Yorkshire meeting and hopefully you and others will come along and introduce themselves.

The Brantingham meet was good a few weeks ago.
