Newbie from London, N10
Hi all
I initially joined the MR2 Owners Club Forum. However, since buying a MKIb last Saturday, I think you're all going to find me on here a fair bit.
Car data:
Year: 01/05/1988
Model: MK1b, sunroof model
Colour: Super White
Interior: Blue
Mileage:86,555 approx. FSH, all MOTS, invoices etc.
Owners: 4 previous
MOT: November 2009
Tax: June 2009
Great car, everything works. Some stuff to be sorted and I will post some questions in the right area of this site. No pics yet, to follow...
OK, car is back from being serviced. Washed and waxed today. Here she is:

Re: Newbie from London, N10
It's my weekend car as the soft-roader does the trips to Waitrose, Garden Centre, Recycling Centre etc. With a massive difference in mpg over my 1990 BMW, it's a better ownership proposition for someone living in London.
Pics will be posted once she's sorted. Needs a few jobs doing but all in good time.

Re: Newbie from London, N10
When I lived in London, I had a white 1990 TBar and it was probably the best car for London, nippy, fast, light and small. Except for the lack of PAS.
Why don't you bring it up the A10 on the 15th February to meet some other Mk1 owners?

Starting around 1p.m and finishing when last person leaves, as it is first one, I don't know how long that will take.
Hope you can make it, the drive up from your area won't be too long, maybe good even if it is just a brief visit.

Re: Newbie from London, N10
Folks, I will do my best.
It's been a while since I've been to a meet. I used to go to German Night on the last Monday of each month at Ace Cafe. I also used to go to an E30 meet at Lakeside every other month.
I'm time-poor these days with lots of travel through work and study....anyway, I will try.

I am not going to get to this meet this weekend I am time-poor at the moment and I have to be at work on Sunday, not fun but it's got to be done.
I will look out for the next one and try to be there.
