Just a random idea but i know from some of the other forums im a member of they have a Member/Services Map.
Nothing too specific just Towns IE Portsmouth 5 Members John, Jim, Julie, Bob and Dharminder.
just to give people an idea of how many members are near where they live
and to show them where the nearest specialists, companies, Meeting start points etc are.

you can also add your location to your personal details in your profile, so people can see where you are when you post a topic
