    Hi from Sussex

    Hi Im Darrel From Sussex.
    A few weeks back Ive picked up my first mk1 after a fair bit of research. Its an 88 Mica T-Bar na. Its been pretty modified, lowered, Janspeed exhaust, Stage 1 head, Remapped ECU braided hoses and uprated calipers. Bodywise isnt great. The arches have been filled previously, but when the weather warms up I will be cutting them out and welding in new ones. Also will respray it at the same time. Was thinking Satin Red colour, but the Mica Blue is really growing on me

    Hello Darrel. Mica Blue is the best!

    Have I now upset the owners of red cars

    It is personal choice really and if we all liked the same, the world would be very boring. Good luck with the car and let us know how you get on. Be careful to get the paint code right, apparently it is very difficult to get the exact colour.
