Just thought I should post an update and say thank you to everyone who helped with my search.
I'm now the proud owner of a 1989 T bar with just over 60,000 miles. Fully undersealed from new, has had new sills and been fully cavity wax injected after the work was done. Unfortunately with the weather as it is, I've not been able to have a proper drive yet and certainly not with the roof off.
Fingers crossed the weather starts to improve soon. Couple of jobs I want to do first are tidy up / detail the engine bay and have the wheels refurbed as there is a couple of areas with flaking lacquer. Other than that it's ready for the summer.
Cheers,
Mike

Wow, she looks really clean Mike, and just some nice jobs to be done by you. Tidying an engine bay is pretty satisfying - you can get those cam covers off and give them a lick of paint for a big improvement!
Well done on finding a good one, and do keep us updated.
