2019 events

Looking forward to 2019 events, any news following December's post
Silverstone is always good, still have the trophy from 2015, although missed last year due to being away

The National mr2 day is the 2 June at Hatton Country Park, for those who can't make Silverstone is a great day out, Les mk1 show car with 467 miles was a stunner, may be tempted to show mine, I wish!!
Also notice a couple of commnets 're the forum being quite on projects, may be a good time to update the area leaders to try and have some meets again, the last one in Yorkshie was the breakfast meet which had to be cancelled at the last minute, may generate some more interests,

It would be good to do a run out somewhere. I found and EXCELLENT route in North Wales driving over to Criccieth via Ruthin where there is a fantastic shop that sells hot pork baps!

Watch this space for the Silverstone post. I'll try and get it up by the weekend, but the dates have been confirmed as 26th-28th July.

We're looking for a Yorkshire LAO if you'd be interested jed? It doesn't take much organising, and as you say, will hopefully get some interest (possibly also from those the other side of t' hills).

Bill should hopefully be posting up about runs he and Mike will be organising this year, but if you fancy jumping on getting one together Jon, that'd be great also?

The MGF owners were out in force and there were about 40 of them all in a big long line! The MR2 is much more cool than the MGF yet no one wants to drive MR2's out on runs - so it would seem

Hello Folks, Happy new year, Lol.

On the subject of events for 2019, I've been busy. I've secured a club allocation of 10 cars at Oulton Park for the Britist GT on Easter Monday 22nd April and for the Gold Cup in August (all 3 days) 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
I have also got the dates for Tatton park 1st, 2nd June and 17th, 18th August. I wil do the usual seperate posts for all those events soon.

There will be the oportunity for camping etc at the Gold Cup but as its new to us we'll need to sus it out.

Mike and I have been out in Wales too, we drove some new routes further south aswell. Maybe we should organise a recce day
