    I've seen that recently.

Looks good, but not sure how to fit it.

$95 + shipping for a cosmetic bar (that doesn't even look good IMO ) I could think of many better things to spend that money on
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour

Jimi! How could you... I'm sure there were those that poo poo'd the introduction of your bracket! Not me though I have one!!

Well I guess all these things are preference related and I think on a stock looking Mk1 I wouldn't... but mine has a few exterior changes and I think it could work for it.

I'm also not sure its cosmetic. It securely bolts to the chassis rails and has the tow eye... Towing would be something that I am now struggling to do (or risking damage to the front bumper) if I was to use either the front crash bar hook or the one underneath.

Plus I would use it to mount my Number plate.. I appreciate thats an expensive way of doing it but If I put the cosmetics, with he towing ability and the number plate mounting then it starts to be a bit more value for money... cough cough

Pretty sure these are Mk1 specific and have the fitment to bolt right onto the chassis rails.... I have read a few posts on other forums where people claim to have fit one in 30 mins so I doubt its that hard. If anything needs completely removing though I have no chance.. my bumper aint coming off ever again.

I don’t think it looks too bad as mods go.
    I love these though!

Those on the other hand I can see the point of, however 2 things against them ........ the horrendous price (is that per side or a pair?) and I seriously doubt they would survive a couple of British winters

Just a slight difference in price and my bracket is hidden away in the engine bay, not in your face preceding the car down the road

I don't think these https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/a...-rods-aw11-mr2 or these for the rear https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/a...-1989-aw11-mr2 are meant to be used on a daily driver road car.
I would certainly consider a pair of both front and rear with a decent set of coilovers on a rally car. There are quite a few good competition parts available now (mostly from the States) and so a pretty good club tarmac car could be built. Might even give the Mk2 Escort guys a run for their money!! You would have to build a pretty good N/a egine to do this though or stay in the 1.6 class.
