    Mk1a Cassette Radio Wanted

    Hi All,
I am after a radio cassette to suit my newly acquired Mk1a. I have several Mk1b cassette radios but I need a Mk1a unit. If anyone has one available send a message.
    Andrew

The mk1a radio has a tuning knob rather than buttons and an analogue display rather than lcd.

I'm pretty sure the type fitted depended on what the customer specified when the car was ordered. The owners manual shows different types

Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour

This was fitted to my 1a, but it has definitely had an aftermarket unit fitted during its life as all of the wiring was hacked up when I got it. It might not be an orginal 'mr2 unit'.

That looks pretty original for a mk1a Michael. Am I still in the running for your one at all? I know it’s missing the knob but worth a beer or two when I manage to get over to visit
