I spoke to Tom at Tatton today and he and Lois may come and stay in Windermere on the Saturday evening before the run and stay at a B&B. If anyone else wants to do that we might head out for a bite to eat, a beer and a natter.
Just let me know and I will point you in the right direction for a B&B

We tried to find accommodation in Windermere or close by, but couldn't find any that was well priced. We'd all but given up on the idea, but then got a deal on an apartment at Thurnham Hall, which looks very nice, for £70!
We'll hopefully be up there in the afternoon, so feel free to pop over for a quick beer and hello if it's not too far for you.
Failing that, see you bright and breezy on the Sunday.

Is it ok to add my mother-in-law Hetty to this? She'll be in a mk3 mr2, which we know is bending the rules. If a mk1 needs a place she'll drop out.

Finally sorted the running issue on the V6; she's purring better than when I bought her.
