This photo wasnt taken at the show but I wanted to post it.
The 1981 Metro 1300 automatic below, belongs to a customer, he is minted has a new Jag XJ and big house, but he keeps the metro and uses it at weekend over the summer so his wife cannot take over his space in the garage!
It's only done 15,000 miles and that model of metro is getting very rare, still not worth very much though, totally original, no painting, welding etc.
oh to find an MR2 like that

Floating around somewher in the uk are two mr2s better than that. One is a late tbar in white with about 4000 miles! That sold about 18 months ago for only 7 or 8k!!
There is also a 1985 metallic sky blue like mine with about 15k mikes on it!

That is a Matra Bagheera. It was imported officially and was available in RHD. Not many about though.
Fiber glass body, three front seats and was available with a 1.3 or 1.5 engine.
Someone i worked with had one. One sold on ebay last month for about 3k!

Close - it's actually Matra Murena, I thought it was a Bagheera when I first saw it then went round the back and saw the Murena name

doh! Ok. The Murena was the replaceemnt. A very short run though i think?
