    Door handle inside bezels

Just taken the car out of the garage for the first time this year and in the better light have noticed that both inside door handle bezels have split really badly where the screw holds them in and are going to need replacing soon.

Does anybody have both sides that they would like to sell or know anybody else outside the club that can supply please?

Doubt MR T still stocks these but will ask tomorrow just to be sure.

    Thanks

    Jon

Just off the phone from my local Toyota dealership and surprisingly they still have them in stock, so both sides ordered at just under £8 each.

Found them on a couple of MR2 suppliers website at nearly double that price, shows it pays to check with Toyota.

Not quite a result I'm afraid.

Toyota gave me the wrong bezels, apparently there are 2 sorts for a mk1, one for cloth interiors and the other for leather interiors. I have a leather interior which is part number 69277-17010, the cloth which Toyota can get easily is 69277-14030.
So they have emailed all of the other UK Toyota dealers to see if they have any in stock, but not holding out much hope, so may have to contact one of the reputable breakers, unless some kind person out there has a pair of -17010 they would like to sell?

Can you see what the difference is ? The reason I ask is that I swapped my door cards years ago from cloth to leather and I'm fairly sure I reused my existing bezels and they fitted OK.

Think there may be a difference from the MK1 A and MK1 B also

Not that I can see in the EPC, the number for a black trim cloth interior to fit a 1984 is the same as a 1989 .. 69277-14030-11. First of the leather trims was 1986 and that number is the same as a 1989 leather ... 69277-17010-11

The leather interior bezel has a smaller lip, hopefully you can see that in the photo.
