I have decided to sell to fund another MR2 project. Car drives well and has been great fun. Included in sale: Red silicone vacuum hoses and Jimi bracket.

Steve Done (mister2mk1 on IMOC) bought this car in 2006 needing a lot of TLC. He completely restored it to show winning standard:

- Full body repairs including new arches and lower quarter panels
- Full respray in original super silver
- Decals and striping
- Refurbished front light mechanisms
- Crystal headlights
- Clear side repeaters
- New front bumper bar
- Underside (including all arches/floor plans) painted in silver and waxoiled
- 4 inch JBL speakers
- New bottom ball joints
- New torsion stabilizer bars all round
- Goodrich stainless steel braided brake hoses
- New brake pads
- Drilled and grooved vented front discs
- Callipers rebuilt with new seals
- New clutch master cylinder / slave cylinder
- New clutch and pressure plate
- Stainless steel exhaust down pipe and back box

Ian Mulhall (mulaz on IMOC) purchased the car in Oct 210 and ran it for a few months before garaging and doing other mods and improvements:

- Calibre Eclipse alloy wheels with Kuhmo Sport 185/55/15 tyres
- Mk2 rear ARB
- Short shift gear stick
- Replica Toysport front bumper
- Air horns
- USA style rear lights and side repeaters

I purchased it in April 2014 without an MOT and got it back on the road with no advisories:

- Replaced engine at 146k miles with another 4A-GE on 118k miles (professionally installed by Patrick Chambers)
- Replaced coilovers with refurbished standard shockers and Apex lowering springs
- Installed refurbished rear tie rod ends
- Four wheel alignment at SVA Imports in Dover
- New windscreen

I can't find them anywhere in silver, were they sprayed?

They have been sprayed as they only come in Gold

Wondering how gold would look though on a white car, as the alloys are quite cheap.
