    Not long now, let's hope the replacement bits turn up for my mk1, hoping to do suspension this weekend and tackle the gearbox

    Great weekend, despite the weather!

    We had a great day on Saturday, fire in the evening, then rain on and off overnight and into Sunday (more on than off!), but spirits were still high throughout!

    It was good meeting some new faces and catching up with old friends.

    I'm still surprised and honoured at the trophy I was awarded on Saturday for my service to the club; thank you so much to all involved!

    The stand looked great when we visited on Saturday, full to bursting with a selection of 1a & 1b's in various states of repair!

    Forgot to take any pics, but to my mind the non-Mr2 car of the show was definitely the gold, bodykitted, dented Lada Samara. Fantastically miserable & enough to make all the concours freaks beards curl
