Hi I've ended up on this forum after falling in love with the above car, I missed it on gumtree and know he wants too much, realistically what am I looking at paying for one of these cars thanks

This is the MR2 MK1 club not the probe club, if you want to talk about those there are specialist sites for it
This supercharger has just turned up for sale on the crx-uk forum for £3K, I questioned the mark up on the car and the chap said he had to pay off a hefty parking fine that the car had, seems like quite a interesting/dodgy story behind the sale of this one......

The fine was £80 as listed on the gumtree advert which is still live if you type in mr2 supercharger, I wouldn't mind giving him a drink on what he paid, I reckon it cost him no more than £1500 on road £3000 is extortion

This looks like a good car. Worth 2.5k all day long. Regardless of what the owner paid for the car. Windscreen rust will be my main concern.
apparently the fine was £2500 which was negotiated down to 4 figures, so I guess a grand minimum, well that's what he said anyway, but it looks very nice and certainly worth £2.5k+ if its as good as it looks, price just seems a bit mercenary that's all
