Seems like a good price...i guess some of you may know this car as there seems to be a lot of guys with MK1s located in this area....

Looks nice as long as you don't mind an auto

It's missing the pin-stripes and side strips, so worth checking whether this was just for aesthetics or if it has had a respray. Usual story really, check for crumbly arches, sills etc. Service history (including SC oil), and bear in mind that some things like alternators are different to the UK spec cars and can be tricky to get hold of.

Seems very good value if as good as the seller says (in my opinion).

I like the colour but then Mica blue is my second favourite colour (after Mica red)

The 'hard to get' parts are available from RockAuto.com in Austin Texas, who seem to have a 48 hour turn-round and pretty reasonably priced, so shouldn't put off a prospective purchase.

Ooh...let me know what response you get please. Yes, the blue interior would put me off too.
