hi , i will be selling this car after tatton show , she done 104000 and the engine is superb as is the gear box . the paint work is tatty as its lacquered peeled in small places on the car but there is no rot and the inner arches are mint . its having a full respray before it goes to the show ( in a booth so a professional finish and would cost 2000+ pounds to have done to the standard it will be in ) . i will post referb pics as its done and its only been sold as the white one is to fund new projects eg a convertible mk1 and a turbo mk1 for next year , i will post more on service history later its got over 15000 pounds worth and very well looked after .it will have 12 months mot

hi . the car will be sold at the end of September after the shows and runs have finished . its now got full custom leather fitted (800 pound worth ) and been repainted and looks stunning .

I felt quite guilty leaving you with no car, but I got over it pretty quick! Had a lovely chat with a farmer round the corner from yours as he'd blocked the road with his cows. He used to have a mk2. Fantastic drive home over some of my favourite roads in the country. I stopped a couple of times to take pictures.
My mother-in-law who lives with us is having my old car. She used to call it a 'shed' until this summer when she drove it! She loves it and had started looking into buying one herself. When she knew I was interested in this one she insisted on buying mine! House looks great with 2 mr2s outside!
I'll post some more pictures later and I'll get Hetty (the mother-in-law) to join up ASAP.
