He has had it up or sale twice before in the last 6-8 months. I strongly recommend seeing it frost if you are interested as there is apparently some fairly significant rust by the frunk hinge panel.
Good luck though....the more mk1a's on the road, the better!
I've got four 1a ones a red one, black one, sherwood (nasty green and silver ) and a silver crossover all that I am saving and trying to find time to get them back on the road trouble is the days are not long enough. So watch this space........
hi paul what do you want for the nasty sherwood mate
God luck in saving them Paul. I look forward to seeing them. Is the red one a black bumpered one?
Hi Gary I bought it a few months ago and its been sitting in my garden with a broken fuel pump but have had it running and it sounds sweet as a nut.It is standard apart from me raping the 1a steering wheel but I have one to put back in it . The body work is fairly solid but does need a respray and with it being two tone its not cheap as there are a few rust scabs and scraps. I know the colour scheme is not to every ones taste but they are pretty rare nowadays. I was going to contact you to see about respraying some of the cars as I have a silver one that needs a respray and the sherwood one and was wondering what sort of price we would be looking at.
Regards Paul
Hi Cchrysos no it has had a respray at some point and has had both bumpers painted completely red however I have a front and rear bumpers in two tone so may opt to change them back
