Hmmmm. What would that make, maybe 200bhp max?
For the effort required to fit it, I imagine most people would want a turbo. A 4A-GZE swap with a big pulley would give you similar power with a mich simpler swap IMO.

I guess it still has some appeal as the 4A-GZE lumps must be pretty hard to get hold of now. The 2.0 turbo also seems to require a fair amount of work with intercoolers, cutting bodywork etc so a NA 2.0 is a pretty simple swap in comparison.

If you are going for a sge engine you may as well go the whole hog and put a gste engine in because it's the same amount of work

If you only going 200bhp you might as well put the celica 190 engine in and keep the weight down and have a modern engine.
