Dear club members. I know you should not buy a car without seeing it,but i like mr2/mk1.i put a ridiculously low bid on ebay & i won,but it was in exmouth. I had it transported home.it had in a barn for 10yrs,no clutch brakes seized on,holes in the front compartment,no battery,i put a new battery on to check the lights &wipers,horn, all lights ok &wiper.i accidentally turned the key too far&the engine started.done the brakes.&clutch got m-o-t & tax . Next respray . Car runs well. Thats all for now.alan:IN BRIGHTLINGSEA,ESSEX.

Hi Alan,

I have bought many cars un-seen. I obviously realise that this can be dangerous, but it hasn't done me any harm so far.

Great to hear that it started up first time! They're great little engines in these cars.

Have you got any pictures of the car? Hopefully you'll be able to attend some meetings next year.
