Brake Disc Backing Plates

Hi guys,

Just wondering has any of you had to replace your brake disc backing plates and if so where did you get them?. I'm having a spot of bother finding a set.

I think they are delisted now, but try trevor at TCB www.tcbparts.co.uk - his site says they arent available anymore, but I'm sure I read on another forum he was able to help someone out earlier this year so you never know... failing that Paul Sims might have some used ones available off the shelf - paulsims2001@yahoo.com.

I think i've got some good usable ones. Down side is you will have to change the wheel bearings to replace them. Is your car a mk1a or b?

Yeah it's strange they have been discontinued. I managed to source a set, just waiting to hear word back, fingers crossed!.
