I came on this forum during my last mr2mk1 ownership , my mr2mk1 ownerships so far consist of a

1988 e reg mica blue with 100k miles I owned this back in 1999 ,absolutly loved it but I lived in manchester citycenter and it got broken into a couple of times ,A mate of mine absolutly loved the car ,which did have some rust and issues but it was a great little car ,he bought it and still has it

1989 g reg light blue 80k miles ,i bought this in 2007 to do up as I had a house with a nice integral garage now ,but slowly but surely I found it was just too far gone ,the engine blew and had no oil pressure plus blue smoke ,it looked so good but it was an absolute rot box ,I scrapped it ,it broke my heart ,I came on this forum during this ownership as well as a few others and got lots of advice

now lol in 2012 Ive bought a 1986 mica blue t-bar with leather ,74k miles ,every bill,mot etc ,3 previous owners ,its pretty good ,not perfect but way better than the other 2 ,but I do have a long list of jobs i wanna do ,currently I'm waiting for a brake mastercylinder as it was leaking ,and I have a little oil leak from the dizzy or an oil feed pipe to fix

thanks for your comment guys I promise some photos soon ,I'll be working on the car all day tomorrow if I take it out for a spin after i'll take some proper pics not iphone ones ,then I have to learn how to post them lol i think I used photobucket last time or something like that ,working sunday but deffo up for a meet up locally sometime allways intrested in talking about mr2s
