    Mk1 engine problems on ebay

    What are peoples thoughts on the mk1 on ebay that ha a been taken apart do you need new heads on these or just new gasket

    impossible to tell, bare minimum the head will need a skim and the valves lapped in. If the bores have got wet the block will be rusty and need a rebore or maybe even be scrap. Same with the cams, if your looking to buy this budget for a replacement engine.
