    handbrake switch

    my handbrake light has been coming on randomly when I go over bumps, but has not decided to stay lit all the time. I've poked my finger in to the switch by the lever but no joy, so guessing the switch is shafted. wanted: handbrake light switch please

    are you sure you haven't got low brake fluid or similar which will put the same light on? if it does it over bumps on hills etc...

    I agree with Dan, check the fluid first, if thats OK, i have got a switch you can have for £5 inc P&P.

    low brake fluid it was! I guess that might be linked to having pads that are getting a bit low lol
