Love the colour, hate the kit. Doesn't suit the Mk1 lines at all.
It is possible to go wide - I've seen other cars with it done. However, it depends how it's been done. If it's been done purely with spacers then that'd be - well, not great!

I like the colour to but a monstrocity to look at! But from the looks of it whoever did the work has got good attention to detail and you can't slam his creative thinking

If you look at the enlarged image of the front wing (the one showing the scratch) you just see an enormous spacer that looks to me to be about 130mm+
all looks, no go and as safe as a cliff edge in a gale

I like the colour too, especially as looks similar..

However the kit is not my taste at all.
