Aye. This car led a very pampered existence over the last 15 years or so. Anyone looking for a good 1a could do a lot worse than this.

It didn't sell for 2400, I think I read, which is great. Good on the seller for not letting it go cheap. Frustrates me when people sell top cars for basement prices. I would want that for mine and it's nowhere near as concourse!
Not everyone is prepared to wait months for that rare breed of mk1 buyer with deep pockets to turn up, Paul. I know I wasn't! :-)
