Right, who wants to join me & AW11mike at the Masters Historic Raceday? I hadnt even heard of it until Mike told me about it last week & it looks like a great day out....

Oulton Park's 60th anniversary season kicks off in style with The Masters Historic Raceday, which showcases six decades of action in a celebration of the world's greatest classic racing cars.

The event will see an eclectic mix of cars from days gone by, including races for Pre-1966 GT and Touring Cars, World Sportscar Masters (including the iconic Lola T70, Chevron B16 and Porsche 911 RSR racers), a 70s Celebration race (featuring classic Mk 1 Escorts, Aston Martin DB4s and Ford Capris), plus a Formula Ford invitation race.

Covering the last three decades will be the Mk2 Golf GTi Championship, celebrating the iconic 1980s hot hatch, and further recent Volkswagen Audi Group action from the SuperPro VAG Trophy.

Come and see the historic machinery in the paddock, before being brought back to life on the undulating Oulton Park circuit, as well as demonstrations and off track entertainment for all the family.
