TARC MR2 Season opener Rockingham April 12th - Free ticket!

Hi guys,

I have a spare ticket going free for the TARC MR2 Mk1 Race series season opener tomorrow if anyone wants it?

First race for the MR2s is not until after lunch although the racing starts at about 9am.

I'm probably not gonna be there until about 11am(ish), and I have a paddock car pass so if you want to meet me at the gates I can give you the ticket, or if you arrive after me, give me a call and I'll come and meet you to get you in.

The MR2s are easily the best racers of the day. Every event I've been to so far, you have massive grids (30 MR2s racing tomorrow), and as the regulations are strict the racing is close and furious!

It's also great as you can have a wander around the paddock, look closely at the cars (and their battle scars!), watch work being carried out, and have a chat with the drivers and mechanics who are all a friendly bunch!

Well I only saw 2 other members there, who are part of the AW11 Collective.

Was unbelievably windy, but I still saw some great racing - and lots of battle scars, and not a clean engine bay in sight! I also spoke to some more members about the Silverstone Classic, so hopefully there'll be some more race prepared cars on stand, and on the parade lap! :)

Here's the vids of both races I took on my phone, so not great quality, and not very stable due to the wind. Some hard racing and very close finishes though! :)
