A new message from Peter

Hello, everyone

A BIG thank-you to all 16 UTB members who turned up for the autumn meeting last Wednesday, our biggest ever gathering. Nice to see so many partners included too – and fantastic to see Andrew's new SC; what a beauty!!

Also pleased to see the new tenants of The Tally Ho in action – Daisy gave us a nice warm welcome, in the tradition Mike and Christine had so long established for us all, and Josh cooked up a storm for those that wanted to eat (including me; excellent home-made burger as sensible money). For your future reference the TH has changed its phone number, which is now 01488 208 089. You may want to make a note of this, as it looks as if our future there is reasonably secure, certainly for the foreseeable future.

Our next meeting is the winter one, on January 11th, and form the feedback at our last meeting, the usual format of a New Year meal together still continues to find favour, so please mark your diaries clearly. Nearer the time, I'll circulate a menu so we can confirm numbers and selections to the Tally Ho.

Early April – Donington Park classic cars
April 11th – spring meet
April 7, 14 or 21 – first Castle Combe Action Day
June 7 – 11 Le Mans Outing
June 9 or 16 – second CC Action day
June 22-24 – MR2 Rally at Edge Hill (AGM, gliding, treasure hunt, BBQ, Supercar Sunday at nearby Gaydon)
July 11th – summer UTB meet
July 20-22 or 27-29 Silverstone Classic Cars Festival
August – Tatton Park classics, Cheshire
Sept 8 or 15 – final CC Action Day
