1st/2nd June Tatton Park classic car spectacular

Hi all, I have received the dates for the June 'Classic Car Spectacular' at Tatton Park.

ONLY 15 TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR EACH DAY OF THE EVENT:
EACH TICKET ADMITS TWO PEOPLE IN ONE VEHICLE FREE TO THE EVENT.

1. THE CLOSING DATE FOR TICKETS IS THE 23rd APRIL!

2. This is the closing date for notifying the show organizers, I MUST have all requests by this date!
This year there are new event organisers and I'm not sure how flexible they will be about deadlines, (as in previous years) so please let me know ASAP if you intend to attend. Help me to help you.

3. I WILL NEED YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, CAR REGISTRATION AND PHONE NUMBER in order to register the tickets..

4. IT IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR MR2 MK1 TO BE ON THE CLUB STAND BETWEEN 8.00 AND 9.00 AM, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REMOVE IT UNTIL 4.00PM. PLEASE LEAVE GOOD TIME TO GET IN TO THE DISPLAY AREA AS THERE UP TO 2000 CARS ON DISPLAY,
THE EARLIER YOU ARE THE LEAST TIME YOU WILL BE IN THE QUEUE.

Bookings can be made for one, or two days, and I also need to know if you will be camping. There is one small charge for camping all weekend. You can arrive after 10.00 am on Friday, and help in setting up our area would be appreciated.
You can camp from Friday noon the 31st if you like and make it a long weekend.

In previous years, places have been booked quickly and already members have applied in advance for this very popular event. To date, the following have booked places, and it would be helpful to have your information in the following format

Have you got the prices for extra vehicles for camping? We’d want to bring the van to sleep in instead of a tent :rolleyes:

Camping is usually charged £10pp, two persons per exibit for the weekend. I think there may be a small extra charge for motorhomes. I'll chek it out.

PM or email me with your details; address, registration numbers (and phone number, just in case) so I can send out your pass.

Looks like you had a reasonable turn out, i was torn between this and the national day so ended up doing neither. hope you all had a good weekend

Thanks to Bill for organizing this event - really enjoyed it as always and great to meet Mk1 enthusiasts new and old.

Looks like it was a great turn out on Sunday as well which is really good news.

Next year we are looking to combine Tatton and the National Day if anyone is interested? Perhaps throw in a few beers and a curry night on the Saturday?

Remember, the North West is the Mk1 Club!
