Hi all, the first meeting of this special year for the club, It will be at the Wiggin Tree at 12.30pm. At the top of Parbold Hill, It is the (Millar Carter) now,
The northwest will have lots to do, With runs out and shows throughout the year, Members from other areas are always welcome on our runs but we have
a limit of 12 mk1s,
This is your Club so come and join the fun.

Why and how is a limit imposed?
Hi Markle - We try and keep to a twelve car limit on NW runs to try an ensure we all can keep together. With more than twelve cars we seem to spend all day trying to find to find each other as the group gets split up. There is normally the route leader at the front and then someone else who knows the route at the back of the group. New members are normally placed towards the front of the group to try and minimise the risk of them getting lost. Runs vary from 100 miles to 200 miles depending on the run. We normally meet at the starting point of the run at 09.00 or 10.00 (depending on the run) and stop for a brew in the morning and in the afternoon and normally an hour for lunch (everybody does their own thing for lunch - some bring sandwiches, some go to the chippy etc etc).

You should try and come along they are great days out - the first one is the Lake District on Sunday 22nd March
The monthly meet has no limit to the number of attendees (though Bill would be delighted if 12 people turned up).
