YELLOW MK1 SUNROOF 1989 TAX+TESTED- SOLD

Hi Folks,

For sale is my 1989(G) mr2 mk1 in yellow. I bought this car quite recentley and the plan was to use it as a runaround. My working circumstamces have now changed and it looks like i will now be getting the train everytime i need to travel :shock:

Anyway heres a summary of the car:

The car is by no means perfect and does require some body work (most of them do), the good thing is that it drives beatifully and the chassis is solid, it passed it's last MOT with NO ADVISORIES! It is currently having a brand new clutch fitted, the old one was slipping alot! The car also benefits from a full stainless Janspeed exhaust.

Comes with a bit of history including alot of old mot's to varify mileage

Bodywork:
Brand new windscreen being fitted on Thursday due to a crack in the old one, top of screen will be inspected for rust also, treated if necessary
Solid chassis - No advisories on the last MOT
Back section of the Rear arches need replacing, i could have filled these with fibreglass but whats the point?, they need doing properly to last. There are rust bubble on the lip of the arch also but nothin major.
At some point it has had a parking scrape on the front passenger side corner, the paint is flaking off and the bottom of the wing is rusty.
A few rust bubbles on the fron lips of the wings.
Paint job polishes up beatifully although it is getting tired in places.

Interior:
Black leather seats,drivers is worn with a tear in the usual place
interior is generally in very good condition and is black, not blue! :sick:
CD Player
Uprated infinity 6x9 behind seats
Brand new kenwood speaker and amp will also be included if i get my asking price.
The car has a starter button fitted at the moment but i planned on removing it, i will hold off until th enew owner tells me what they want.

Wheels,Brakes,Tyres,Exhaust

BBS style alloys(15") with very good pirelli P6000 all round.
Brakes are all working well, the car stops in a straight line also.
full stainless Janspeed exhaust

Engine and Gearbox:
Genuine 111000 miles
Service will be carried out prior to purchase
Pulls very strongly all the way through the rev range
No promblems whatsoever

Brand new clutch fitted this week
no jumping out of 5th

Overall you will be getting a car that is a little tatty on the bodywork but mechanically sound with some nice additions in and out. The chassis is solid and the car is ready to go.
I could break the car for parts but i beleive that these cars are worth saving if there is only minor issues with them(bodywork) it is becoming hard to find them with a solid floorplan. Hopefully the car will go to a good home.

Possibly, i would have to find some to replace them though.
