Cat Cams
252/260 - 8.5mm/9.0mm lift
If anyone is interested these camshafts let me know and I hope we can come to an agreement on the price. They have only covered 1300 miles. I paid £421 for the cams, but would be willing to accept near £310.

I will sell the pulleys without the camshafts for £45 or with the camshafts for £350. The pulleys are adjustable to plus/minus 10 degrees. They are manufactured by BLOX.

The aluminium crank pulley probably won’t be up to much after it’s removed, but if there is minimal damage I’ll put it up here probably for a tenner or something.

Please bear in mind, these parts are located in the UK and are priced without postage - obviously I am willing to post, so please send me your post/zip code so I can get you a cost.
Cheers

These will be going on eBay soon.
The price I am offering is a bargain considering how much brand new the two items cost.

Hi Superwhite,
What performance profile would you expect with these cams? (Not trying to sound like a d**K! what kind of BHP could be expected? is it mainly an increase in top end power? Is the engine still driveable when driving normally?)
Cheers
G
EDIT: Forget the above, Ive seen the spec for your motor and my crotchety engine isn't going to be worthy of that enhancement. ;)

you can use them on yours no problem.
ive had suspension issued so couldnt test car properly. better top end response.
-
Not for sale due to no interest and i'm going to have it tuned properly.
Sorry.

I'm not changing the ecu mate. I'm going to pay someone to tune it on a dyno
-
Be careful because there is not much that can be tuned on the original ecu..... I believe your being sold snake oil.....

Unless you use a piggyback system only spark timing can be adjusted. .. and for that, one does not need a dyno. ...
from past experience is fuelling that goes wrong with cams and its not adjustable without a piggyback or a new ecu
