Hi Mk1 Fans :)
As a club do we have any plans to promote or support the MR2 National Day being organised by the Drivers Club?
With Mk1 numbers dwindling it would be good to make a concerted effort to get the numbers up!
I will be there so who is going to join me?

There every year, always a good turnout of mr2 people, would be great to see more mr2mk1 club there.

Cheers. About 100 miles for me. Anybody camping the night before or after?
I am not but I know people are planning on camping the night before. You can camp on location. There's also two hotels locally, Hilton and Holiday Inn, if you need your creature comforts like I do!
We have logged an interest, and will try and get if possible
I will be camping the night before at the Hatton campsite with a few others, beer and bbq gaurenteed.

I'm dog sitting for my sister unfortunately, plus my closest-to-being-roadworthy MR2 is still a tad rusty :(.

Hoping to be there. Weather dependant.....last time I spent hours polishing it only for it to tip down in typical fashion haha
Same here, still enjoyed the event, according to website 400 cars registerd some time ago, fingers crossed with the weather.
What a great day, well organised and the weather kind over 400 cars and meeting up after lockdown, all cars photographed on arrival,Understand photos will be on their website with drone footage, plenty of mk1 on display, the 260mile round trip was well woth the effort.

If interested to see photos video go to mr2 drivers club, where there are video of the mk1 only as well as others, mine is E466 super silver, had the mk3 wheels on, the mk1 are being refurbished, otherwise complets original including number plates. Great day, people and mk1s ect.
