Well, as I said last year, I'd like to do it, but given the forum is already taking up plenty of my time, I'd like to see if anyone else will step up to do it this year...?Quote:

You can count me in as attending. Wickstead park is 20 minutes from home

Is it just me or does JAE seem to be dying year on year as an event anyway?
Not that fussed about missing it tbh.
Waynoe we had a good time last year but it hasn't been the same since we had to leave Billing, maybe if it gets smaller again we will have the really good times back :DQuote:

JAE isnt nesessarily about the venue its about the social side of this show & due to its lack of firm pre planning & organisation the shine has been taken off of this show, i really hope they get the feel of this event back again, but that can only happen when the structure of the event is strong again, at the moment it isnt & i believe this year will be the lowest turnout of all the JAE's, lets hope this doesnt spell the end of JAE. not quite sure where Wicksteed Park is but ill be there
i love JAE shame i missed last year
but the year before i was there with the supra (damn i miss that car) but i was with that club and floated over to the village..
but i must admit being with a huge club like the mkivsupranet club and how well organized it was gave me a few ideas...
so if you want help organizing etc or and extra ideas please drop me a pm i'd be happy to help and lend a few of my ideas
Right there seems to be a few issues brewing regarding this years JAE and for the time being it will take an awful that of persuasion for me to be involved, I know as the National Events Co-ordinator I should be in the fore front of organising this but for the moment I will not be. I am however looking for volunteers to help co-ordinate things, I am sure we could work with IMOC on this, at least on the side regarding tickets and it seems silly to have various lists going, think it would be easier to keep that side of it under one roof, all this would involve is liasing with Scott Barton (IMOC) and adding names to the list over there, if I remember correctly and without trawling back through the previous pages I'm sure Chris (Limey) offered some sort of plan aswell?
Just keep watching this space, I'm sure this JAE will be a brilliant one and I know that deep down Jinx and I are gutted we are not going, last year was my fisrt and all I can say is I had a fantastic time and no I don't think there is an event quite like JAE, it has to be experienced to be believed
